Our History

WunderRosa Winery opened it’s doors in April of 2009 offering four wines, adding new ones every year.  We are continuing Clare’s dream of a Nebraska winery, providing a fun place to drink wine, enjoy the great view of Lincoln and surrounding areas and getting together with friends.  The 80 x 16 porch and Tasting Room provide a great venue for special gatherings such as weddings, receptions, birthday parties, showers, class or family reunions, etc.  The winery is available for private functions by reservation.

Frontenac and LaCrosse grapes are grown on site with other grapes; Prairie Star, Marquette, Frontenac Gris, St. Croix coming from Czechland Vineyard near Wilber and Homestead Prairie Vineyard near Crete, Nebraska.  All of our wines are made from Nebraska grown grapes.

We offer a variety of wines for all palates, ranging from dry reds and whites to semi-sweet reds and whites, to sweet whites and blushes.

The WunderRoost Bed and Breakfast is just around the corner for a nice weekend get-a-way.  Owned by Jim and Kay Wunderlich.
